Dallas County Medical Operations Center
A medical operations center is a Multi-Agency Coordination Center focused on a specific topic. It provides the ESF-8 resources from private and public agencies. The DMOC is a joint venture between all health care facilities in Dallas County, Dallas County Health and Human Services, Dallas County Medical Society, Metropolitan Medical Response Systems (Dallas, Irving, Garland), The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, and BioTel. It provides a place for coordination and distribution of health and medical resources across Dallas County. The DMOC can be activated by any two hospitals needing assistance or by any Jurisdiction.
